Thikanedar were
the landlords who were directly under the state (here Bikaner). Each
thikana had many villages under them and thikanedar collected revenue
from these villages and also maintained army of well trained soldiers
for the service of the state of Bikaner. Influence of thikana on
state could be measured in the number of villages under them.Rajput
Jagirdars were also called Sardars. Most of the Rajput Jagirdars
were Rathore Rajputs and among them Bika, Bidawat, and
Kandlot sub gotra were in majority. Jagirdars other than Rathores
were Bhati, Sisodiya, kachawa, chauhan, Tanwar, Parmar and Parihar,
among these Bhati Rajputs were in majority.
Bikaner Jagirdars were Classified in three class,
these are:
(A) Rajvi Sardars
(B) Sirayat, Umrao and Tajimi Sardars
(C) Non Tajimi Jagirdars, Bhomiye
(A) Rajvi Sardars:
Nearest of the relatives of the Maharaja were
called Rajvi. They are treated as brothers of the Maharaja. Rajvi
Maharaj Gaj Singh's successors called Gajsinghgot Rajvi and they
are divided into two categories. All three thikanedar
all called Maharaj.
(1) Dyodiwale Rajvi: Maharaj
Gaj singh Rajvi's son Chattar Singh successors are called Dyodiwale
Rajvi. Mahraja Dungar Singh ji and Maharaja Ganga Singh were
adopted from this category.

(2) Haveliwale Rajvi: Maharaj
Gaj Singh Rajvi's son Sultan Singh, Muhakam Singh and Devi Singh
successors are called Haveliwale Rajvi.

(B) Sirayat, Umrao and Tajimi
Sardars:
Bikaner State had 130 Tajimi Sardars, they are
divided into three category:
(1) Do ladi Tajim and
one hand Kurabwale: Total no. of thikana under this
category are 33 and out of these Mahajan, Bidasar, Rawatsar
and Bhukarka are
the major ones and are called "Sirayat". Whenver Jagirdars of
these Thikana go to the Maharaja then Maharaja greets them with
one hand Kurb.
(2) Ek ladi Tajim: Total no. of thikana under this category are 28.
(3) Tajimwale: Total no.
of thikana under this category are 69. Whenver Jagirdars of
these Thikana go to the Maharaja then Maharaja greet them by standing.
(C) Non Tajimi Jagirdars, Bhomiye: Their
are many non Tajimi thikana in Bikaner State. Many times Maharaja
of Bikaner elevated them to Tajimi Sardars. Some of these Thikana's of Bikaner are:
